Fatal handstand
A 20 year old man fell to his death in the Cave Gardens sink hole in the centre of Mount Gambier, South Australia in February 2020. The sink hole features a railed walkway with several viewing platforms to gain advantageous vistas of the natural feature. Police say that the man was performing a handstand on the rail of the walkway when he overbalanced and tumbled 30 metres into the depths of the sink hole, causing fatal injuries. By the time emergency rescue workers could reach the man, he had expired.
