Burning Ambition
Ever watched one of those Got Talent TV shows? Essentially, it involves people vying to win the affections of their local show's version of Simon Cowell. It's as brain-numbing as it sounds.
Speaking of numb brains, Mohammed Jalaluddin's audition video for India's Got Talent did not go well. After successfully pouring kerosene in his mouth and lighting it as he spat it out in a fiery plume, he next poured the fuel on his t-shirt and lit himself up.
He unfortunately found himself struggling to remove the burning garment, which was after all inevitably melting itself onto his chest. He suffered third-degree burns to 60% of his body, and this fact alone shows the amounts of liquid used.
After three days Mohammed died in hospital. Before passing, he made sure to tell the authorities his friends with cameras did nothing wrong: The entire escapade was his idea, and his alone.
