Flat Earther Survives Craft Rocket

A flat earther, determined to prove that the earth is shaped like a frisbee pursued his preliminary experiment by launching himself 625 meters into the air over the Mojave Dessert via a converted trailer-turned rocket launcher. Although he survived, he harbors ambitious plans to launch himself 30 km or so up so that he can see for himself and prove to the world that the earth is flat. This is one to watch.

Definitely Keep: Honorable Mention
We had a few submissions about this dolt that we rejected because they were before he actually flew. Given that he managed to fly to an altitude of 1,875 feet and survived I'm willing to vote for an HM at this point. He could have gotten roughly 25 times higher a lot more safely if he just went and bought a commercial airplane ticket instead. Thanks, Aife!

Really. For what he spent on his experiments, he could probably have bought a ZeroG package -which goes MUCH higher. Thanks, Aife!
