I will go against the grain. I like this story to. It needs a better write up. But i personally think this is extra stupid. Usually they climb in a cage. Messing with a wild bear is new to me.

I have to agree with Candi on this one. This sort of stupidity is extremely commonplace around wild animals. A few years ago I was in northern Canada and saw a number of tourists getting within a few feet of an elk that was clearly exhibiting nervous behavior, indicating it might attack. Luckily for the tourists it didn't, but the clueless tourists wouldn't have stood a chance had it decided to defend itself.
