Darwin/Wendy says, "Thanks for the submission, although foolhardy Donna Munson's acts were kind-hearted and besides the event occured nine years ago. My thoughts is that her generosity toward animals is a beneficial human trait because to care deeply about our ecosystem is to protect its diversity. Although feeding bears is arguably dumb, I will exclude this from the Archves. Thanks John M.."

ORIGINAL SUBMISSION:

Donna Munson spent years feeding bears and had many warnings against feeding wildlife. After a bear was injured in a fight with an older and bigger bear, Donna left food out to help the injured bear. The older bear came back to her property, forced its way past a wire fence, and mauled Donna to death

The photo in that article looks VERY familiar to me, and I feel like we did receive this story a while ago. But I can't find it in any of our archives so I'll go ahead and accept this one.
