Apologies for contacting this way, but I'm not on FB, twitter, and my browser can't reach the philosophers forum.
In the title Old Folks Reunion, you've included a story of a lady who set fire to herself having a cigarette outside a hospital. I'm not sure this qualifies. First of all, there is no mention of of an oxygen cylinder in the two reference reports. I read German and, whilst the fire is noted as giving the lady 3rd degree burns, and resulted in her being airlifted to a specialist clinic for treatment of these, the conclusion from officials was that it was just a tragic and unexplained death. Moving on to the source, Bild is the German equivalent of The Sun in the UK. Translate as sensionalisation, and take with a pinch of salt. Thirdly, a search of the Halterner (locale) news site for the hospital in question identifies no such incident going back to 2015.
