1 Rip 2 Falls

My friend decided to go on a trail run in the middle of January after a big snowstorm. A little bit up the mountain he slipped on a patch of ice and ripped his shorts down the back... while it was 30 degrees outside. They decided to finish the run but when they got closer to the top he slipped again, but this time he dropped 243 feet off the side of the mountain, only to have a couple of trees break his fall. When the rescue team arrived they did not bring any of their gear. He sat in the snow on his bare skin for 6 hours, due to the rip in his pants earlier in the run. He was airlifted to the hospital where he found out he had no broken bones. He had hypothermia in his extremities and a couple stitches on his leg and face. He still cannot feel anything in his fingers or toes, but will still be running a 50k later this year in the same blood stained tennis shoes.

Given none of the rescue crews were reportedly injured I'm willing to accept this as an HM. For the other mods here's a working link: https://www.liberty.edu/champion/2021/03/liberty-student-survives-243-ft-fall-down-the-side-of-a-mountain-on-the-appalachian-trail/

Wow - your friend is incredibly lucky - and the rescuers incredibly brave!
