Bam!boo

When people hurt themselves in bizarre and inventive ways, medical professionals sometimes write up the incident for academic study in the name of science.

One paper manages to tell the entire story in just a few sentences, the abstract alone providing a fascinating tale. Our hero, an unnamed Indian man, used a flimsy bamboo cane in an attempt to pole vault. The cheap cane snapped, and bam! Entered his brain, via his mouth.

A sad end for his grey matter: Unused, one careless owner (deceased).
