Playing a matador

When I was 16, I ran through a bull field. Believe it or not it was completely unintended, I had stumbled upon the field after searching for a place to get out of a river after tubing. It looked like a normal field until I got about 100 feet up over a hill. The bulls saw me, and immediately started running after me. I took off in a dead sprint and realized there wasn’t a way out unless I got back onto the river.. or jumped over the fence. I decided in a split second to take the fence route. I noticed the fence was electrified and about 8 feet tall, also with barbed wire across the top. I leaped up, burning my bare feet with the amount of electricity and threw myself over the fence. I caught my leg on the barbed wire and fell on my right foot, breaking it. My leg was a deep flesh wound, almost down to the bone. Even after all of that, I still didn’t go to the hospital for three days. I’m from a small town, so when I went I had every doctor and nurse on staff asking for me to tell the story again.

Waiting 3 days if you had a deep cut and a broken foot is enough to get a nod from me. Thanks for the story!
