Ruben Carbonell had a youtube channel with 6 subscribers. He filmed various stunts and posted them. At 1 in the morning, he did a parachute jump from a 50 metre chimney while a friend videoed the stunt. Unfortunately, either he failed to pack the parachute correctly, or 50 metres isn't enough for a parachute to deploy, and he died at the scene.

I'm willing to accept this because this dolt was seen as a professional thrill seeker. Most sport parachutes take 100+ meters to open, and even base jumpers who make smaller jumps at around 60 meters. While jumping from 50 meters or even less is possible it takes special equipment, techniques, etc. Either this guy seriously misjudged the jump, used the wrong gear, didn't have the gear set up properly, or a combination of all of the above. In my mind that's more than enough for a DA. Thanks!

There's knowing the chances you take, and there's not preparing properly for the chances you take when you darn well know better. Thanks!
