Sleeping forever now

Homeless people sometimes choose some strange places to sleep at night. A locked inlet ramp of a parking garage might seem like a proper, safe place. Locked gates can be opened, however...

A homeless man in Hamburg, Germany, picked such a ramp to lay his weary head. He earned a darwin award when in the early morning, a car and key owner opened the gate, drove in and ran him over. The car driver hoisted up his car with a jack in order to rescue the yet living man from under his car, but he passed away in hospital on March 6th, 2018.

Rest in peace - but rest elsewhere!

Sorry, Tim, this sounds like an accident to me. Thanks anyway.

I have to disagree with Candi on this one. This is a rather unique take on somebody lying down in an unsafe location where a vehicle could (and did) run over them. That's more than enough in my book for Darwin to take a look at it. Thanks, Tim!

Of all the bloody places one can choose to sleep (even if homeless), the middle of a ramp is not quite the best choice. It was a coin toss, but I will vote DA on this one. Thanks Tim!
