Hereditary Selfie Disease
Well, the story happens in Southeastern Turkey, in Urfa to be specific and what happened seems quite ordinary yet what follows the original story makes this a textbook Darwin winner.
Our hero goes to the local castle with his friends to celebrate his birthday, and is completely sober. They take a couple of pictures and have a nice walk. Then the candidate, who happens to be in his 40's thinks it is a very good idea to take a selfie, from a ledge which has no protective measures or whatsoever and falls down while taking the selfie and dies on spot from internal injuries.
Well, our candidate's recklessness and his unhealthy knack for taking cool selfies is nothing major, one might argue. Yet, what follows this tragic yet Darwin-worthy event makes this one immortal. His grieving daughter visits the spot his father died after the funeral and wants to see where he fell from.
Guess what? She fells from the exact same spot, suffering heavy injuries. As this post is submitted, her condition is still precarious, yet the way these events have transpired, deserves a consideration of Darwin Award.
