Mr Frosty

Mr E Moss expat resident in China had hurt his knee in a daiquiri related fall. Wracked with pain he heroically gave up drinking for three days to rest the knee with ice packs to no avail. On day three of his attempted recuperation his girlfriend ordered in some ice cream. Much to his delight he found a new ice pack in with the ice cream. Applying the ice pack to his knee , despite observing it was very cold and stuck to his fingers, he immediately noticed that the pack was was so cold it felt hot. This is a common observation when putting -78 degree frozen carbon dioxide against bare skin. Attempting to remove the dry ice pack he immediately noticed it was stuck to his skin. A number of options available to him were considered and the option of turning off the air conditioning to hasten the evaporation of the ice was settled on. The ultimate result did not remove him from the gene pool but did record the first case of frost bite ever seen in south eastern China in summertime.

Brilliant - thanks very much! All my packages that have included extra ice packs like that have had huge warnings printed all over them!
