from The Daily Mail, June 23rd, 2015:

"Moment man slices friend’s nose off with a sword after betting he could chop sausage in his mouth"

A party trick involving a sword and a sausage went horribly wrong when a man ended up with his nose sliced in two.

The shocking footage captures the moment the well-spirited friends make the unsightly gaff in front of horrified party-goers. A man wearing a baseball cap leans back with the large sausage protruding from his mouth as another brandishes the weapon, ready to strike it in two with the sharp weapon. But the onlookers' cheers quickly turned to screams as they watched on in horror as the man misses the food, accidentally slicing the other guy's nose instead. The victim can be seen recoiling away in shock, covering his face from the camera as his friend realizes the error and covers his mouth in horror.

It is not clear where the accident took place but the trademark red cups suggest it was a gathering at a house in the US.

It has attracted a mass following online with people suggesting 'don't try this at home'.

Footage showing the aftermath of the failed stunt can be viewed online but is too graphic to be shown here.

It is clear that the man needed hospital treatment following the accident.

Definitely Keep: Honorable Mention
After seeing the still images in the referenced article I'm more than happy to accept this as an HM. In reading the article I assumed the man with the sausage was standing sideways to the man with the sword as you would see when circus performers, etc. do this sort of stunt. But the pictures clearly show the two standing face to face and the victim leaning backwards. I think he certainly got what he paid for by trusting his friend with a deadly weapon. Thanks, Scott!
