An impatient man needs to get from the seventh floor down to the first but the elevator car isn't quick enough. He decides the best course of action is to pry open the landing door, grab the elevator cable, and slide down. The problem was that he couldn't hold on and fell to his death on the first floor.

Despite the fact that this guy was apparently drunk & on medication when he did this I think it's worthy of an award. It's not an easy task to pry an elevator door open, and thinking you can just slide down the cable like Batman just boggles my mind. Thanks!
