A Thai farm labourer, Narakorn Kittiyongkul, was working in Israel as a tomato-picker with two friends. The farm owner had told them they had 15 seconds to take cover if the alarm warning of an attack by mortar from the Gaza Strip sounded.

When his two friends heard the alarm they ran for shelter, but not Narakorn; he calmly reached for his mobile phone to photograph the mortar. Sadly when his boss reached him a couple of minutes later he was dead.

His employer's wife said "the photograph shows a beautiful silver streak that fascinates me too".
