I disagree with Candi on this. Most of the stories in the archives involve idiots doing things like checking the level of a gas tank with a cigarette lighter or cutting into a vapor filled tank with a cutting torch. I don't think we've ever had idiocy of this level before - actually lighting the fumes coming from an open car gas tank on purpose, and then only to do something as asinine as lighting a cigarette. Sooner or later that little stunt is bound to backfire on him (no pun intended) and result in likely both the car and himself ending up much the worse for wear. Thanks for sending this in Dwight!

Thank you, Dwight. This CLOWN'S days are numbered. My guess is that the car model has some sort of "safety" feature built in, but sooner or later (as Bruce suggested), this WILL backfire. We'll be keeping an eye on this jerk!
