Clayton Smith died in March 2009 in area called Hell Roaring Creek up St. Mary's Lake near Kimberley, BC - there was very high avalanche danger - some of his friends went to same spot on Saturday March 23rd, 2013 (when there was high avalanche danger) and one of them was killed in an avalanche
