Finding himself in a dire strait that few outside of Hollywood westerns can adequately cope with, Gaur tried to yell for someone to open the door. As the compartment was empty, no one heard Gaur’s pleas. Gaur clung to the door for dear life for almost ten minutes before he lost his grip and plummeted to death.

Consequently, cops put the blame on Gaur’s weak hand from a previous injury, railway authorities suspended the station master for negligence, and the power company’s stocks hit an all-time low.

Although I'm usually the first to toss train-related stories as being too common I think this one is unique enough to qualify. This guy apparently managed to hang onto the side of a train, Hollywood-movie-style, for 8 kilometers before he hit a pole alongside the train tracks.
