A sports player from South Australia was killed during a party session in Las Vegas. Police believe that alcohol may have been involved, and are unsure whether drugs were involved, but this man should still have know better than to do the following:

The Port Adelaide footballer died accidentally when he jumped from the third floor of the Flamingo Hotel in Las Vegas towards a palm tree, it was revealed this morning.

Having been unsuccessful at leaping into the palm tree, he proceeded to fall to his demise on the concrete pavement.

It's pretty common for people to die trying to jump from balcony to balcony, but jumping from a balcony into a palm tree??? This poor fellow's chances for survival were virtually ZILCH...!
