Man Dies Flying Kite On Office Roof

Workplace safety officials in California were investigating Saturday the death of a man who died while flying a kite at his office, KTLA-TV reported. Perry Wayne Isham, 53, was flying a kite on the roof of his office building in Santa Fe Springs, Calif. -- about 15 miles southeast of Los Angeles -- on June 7 when he dropped through a skylight and fell about 30 feet to his death, officials said. A representative for Southern California Valve Co., Isham's employer, said he was not working at the time of the accident. He had been employed at the company for 15 years. The California Division of Occupational Safety and Health was investigating the incident.
