The friend lays the coffin in the hole and proceeds to bury his pal. Then he goes back home and receives a first call from his underground buddy, reassuring him that everything is going fine.

The morning after the "undertaker" goes back to his "zombie friend" house and starts to dig him out.

The terrain is heavy due to the rain that fell during the night.

Unfortunately it appears that the rain and consequent mud had clogged the breathing tubes, leading to our Nosferatou's early demise for asphyxiation, leaving him no time to make an emergency call.

I imagine "Nosferatu" must have had quite a "final look" etched upon his face when he was dug up! This is certainly one of the more macabre submissions I've seen here on DA! If nothing else, at least he took a "test drive" before committing to the grave for good! Thanks, Gavino!
