Going up outside the Elevator

In the city of Blumenau, state of a Santa Catarina, southern Brazil, in April 19, 2011, a Janitor tried to bring from 14th floor to the lobby a wood door and when he realized that it will not fit INSIDE the elevator, he got the idea to bring it "outside the elevator", by puting the door OVER the elevator. Then with a help from another worker, they stopped the elevator between two last floors and openned the door in the 14th floor and the Janitor pull over the elevator wyth handling the door! Then his friend closed the elevator's door and comand it to go to the lobby - WITH THE JANITOR CARRYING THE DOOR OVER THE ELEVATOR! Once at the lobby, untill now nobody knows what hapenned, because suddenly the elevator started going up again, with the Janitor still over the elevator, then he felt between the walls and was carried "pressed" between wall and the elevator until to the 14th floor again, and died instantlly! Maybe they shall change the signs in the elevator's doors: instead the ordinary sign used: "Once the door is open, make sure that elevator is in this floor", should have "Do not travel outside the elevators"!
