Exploding gutter

A few years ago a freind of mine, Dave, used to work at an aluminium found where he liberated some sticks of sodium. For those of you who dont know sodium when it comes in contact with water goes off with a bang. Another freind is a mechanic who works out of a small unit in a local industrial estate. He was complaining one day that the down pipe frome the gutter was blocked and that every time it rained water spilled out over the top flooding the garage floor. Dave decided he had the perfect answer for unblocking the down pipe, dropping a stick of sodium down it. Ladders out up he climbs onto the roof unwraps the sodium and drops it in. BANG!! The cast iron down pipe explodes sending shrapnel out like a pipe bomb. One piece shoots out hitting him square in the forehead knocking him clean out off the roof breaking his collar bone on the way down.

So the moral of this story is if your a mechanic and your pipes are blocked, pay some one to clean them dont leave it to your idiot freind!!!
