Two brothers savvy but reckless set fire to a gas station Sunday night Wolhusen (LU). A fuel pump burned. Nobody was injured.

The two men aged 18 and 21 years were not able to set the gas pump to continuous pumping. So They tied it with a wire cable, said the judiciary of Lucerne on Monday.

To loosen the grip they used a cigarette lighter which caused an explosion. Gasoline spilled on the ground and ignited. The two brothers were able to drive their car to safely, but the petrol caught fire. Some 80 firefighters were on hand to fight the fire.
