Greenland rafting

3 norwegian men (aged 24, 24 and 31) recently left for a fishing trip in greenland. Ignoreing the advice to bring a guide (http://www.vg.no/nyheter/utenriks/artikkel.php?artid=10026179) In order to save weight (but not their lives) they set of with no weapon (for polarbear protection), no sat phone, emergency beacon, GPS or extra supplies for more then the 8 days they planed to be there. (http://www.vg.no/nyheter/innenriks/artikkel.php?artid=10026168). For reasons best known to them selves they then evidently proceded to make a raft out og branches and airmadresses and attempt to cross a wild flowing freezin arctic river. (http://www.vg.no/nyheter/innenriks/artikkel.php?artid=10026306) As they were beeing picked up in the same place they were dropped it makes little scense. When they did not show up for their sceduled pick up the police launched a S&R operation. The police have so far recovered 3 backpacks, 3 airmadresses some tied together branches and one dead body.

Despite warnings from the local police and rescue group the families of the victims (the police belive all 3 to have drowned) have now launched their own search party and are now heading out into the area despite their lack of arctic experience.....
