Two couples went sailing in Lake Michigan in the wee hours of the morning. Two or more miles out into the lake, they decided to go swimming. They dived off the boat forgetting to anchor it. The wind and current blew the boat away. Six hours later a passing boat rescued two of the women. Eventually they found the body of one of the men and are still looking for the other man.

I was a little torn on this given the very brief description, but after reading one of the articles I think a full DA is justified for the two men. It's pretty obvious they had little or no experience on the water. Jumping into the water without leaving somebody on board and/or anchoring the boat is downright plain stupidity. Thanks, Morgan. These guys did not anchor the boat. All of them jumped into the water instead of taking turns. And it was shortly after 1:30 am they did this. So it was fairly DARK at the time! What were they THINKING!?!
