Bullet testing

(Sorry for the english, I'm french and not billinguial) As I was reading all the stories, I figured out that my 17 years old brother was typically an at-risk survivor. I had an uncle hunter, and when he passed away (just from aging, not any darwin to award)the police refused to take the unused bullet, so my father managed to deactivate them one by one.

One day, I was having fun with my girlfriend while taking a shower when my brother knock stongly on the door and urged me to come out. he was panicked because of a tiny hole in his chest that wasn't bleeding at all. He asked me to do something without telling it to our parents, and when he told me what happended I understood why.

He has always been extremly curious, and found nothing better to do than go to the garage where my father was deactivating my uncle's bullets while nobody was watching, put one into a vise and hit it with a hammer, just to see what happen you know, very safe and funny huh?

No the tiny hole wasn't caused by the bullet itself, but by a sharpnel of the metal chamber where the powder is contained.

No, nothing terrible happened, we took him to urgencies and on X Rays, we saw that the sharpnel had been stoped by a coast. one centimeter down and he would've died from a preforated lunge.

While doing stupid things with bullets and other explosives is extremely common I think this is worthy of a PA. If your brother was stupid enough to seek out your help in private for a hole in his chest rather than immediately go to the hospital then my guess is it's only a matter of time before he's in the running for a full Darwin Award. Thanks, Tim!
