Gone to the dogs

Three dogs were held in legal limbo for years as Slovenian authorities tried to have them put down after they attacked and seriously injured a passer-by outside their owners home. The dogs then injured a dog handler while in custody and were ordered to be put down. The 52 year old owner of the dogs fought this ruling in court and finally succeed last June to have the dogs returned to him. Only for him to be bitten to death by, you guessed it, the dogs he had tried to save.

I'll accept this only because after attacking a passerby AND dog handler this guy should have known the dogs were dangerous and been very careful with them. Obviously he wasn't. Thanks, Becca.
