MIDWEST RURAL FUN

myself and 3 friends didnt have much to do so we went out into the woods behind our homes. what we would do is climb up trees about 4-6 inches in diameter, we would climb 15-35 feet up where the diameter of the tree was less than down near the ground. we would swing back and forth until the tree broke, many times it broke 10 or more feet up and it was kinda like a parachute lowering one onto the ground. we ran into a tree a little larger than 6 inches at the ground and on a steep edge of a ravine. john climbed 35 plus feet up and started shifting his body weight to break the tree. it would not break, so billy climbed up around 15 feet off the ground and began shifting his weight at the same time as john to try and break the tree. picture these 2 balloon heads holding the trunk of this tree with there feet on limbs near the the trunk and the upper bodies as far out away from the trunk shifting their weight in tandon trying to break this tree. i was watching this. well, the tree broke quickly below billys knees and it knocked him down backwards and and kinda catapulted him backwards and he slid down the part of the trunk that was falling down on his back about 20 feet, his jacket slid up as he slid down the tree on his back and billy recieved pretty serious lacerations. john was quite a bit higher up the tree on this ravine, the farmer had thrown years of old barbed wire in balls about 3-4 foot around and other metallic farm stuff that was junk. it seemed pretty far away when they were swinging on the tree, this time the parachute effect didnt work as in many other cases, because of the angle of the ravine the police and paramedics said that they thought he had fallen about 40 feet, he suffered multiple cuts, abrasions and a broken femur during the fall. we quit doing this after this event.

This could use a bit of a rewrite (and not in all caps) but I think it's amusing enough for a PA. Thanks, Robert.
