During the 1995-1996 ski season at Sugarloaf Resort in Cedar, Mi. A new lift operator had been assigned to work the bottom of Lift #2. He was impressed with the bull wheel as it turned around above his head. The giant spokes on the wheel were too much for him to resist so he decided to grab onto one and pull himself up and over while the wheel was moving. After a few times of this, he thought he would try and beat the wheel and do his up and over trick on the outside of the wheel. Unfortunately, he did not make it all the way over before he was caught between the wheel and the lift cable. He made his final trip around the bull wheel and was sliced in half.
