messing with live power line = bad

A 36-year-old metro Atlanta man had the brilliant idea to steal copper from a Georgia Power electric line. Police say he collapsed while cutting the line. Two female companions took the victim to a local hospital. Most interesting is that authorities are planning an autopsy.

Um, how about death by electrocution?

Definitely Keep: For Darwin's Eyes
Another french-fried felon for Darwin's cooked crooks collection. Thanks, laurie! And on the autopsy thing: the electrocution caused the damage that killed him, but in some districts any criminal death requires an autopsy, and they need to find out exactly what damage the voltage did to his organs. _Dead reckoning : the new science of catching killers by Baden, Michael M._ is a good book detailing this; do not read while eating.

Definitely Toss: Repeat
Given the two female accomplices I'm pretty sure this is a repeat of a story we've already received (and with a bit more detail). Thanks just the same, Laurie.

Autopsy is standard procedure, and in this case it will probably be routine. As for our late would-be thief, I like the fact that he had female companions. It makes for a nice visual indeed...! Thanks, Laurie!
