But not the 22-year-old danish Martin Harris.

In September 2005 he was cought trainsurfing with a friend by the police, an was later interviewed by a local tv-station.(link to interview: http://waxjelly.com/dev_code/youtube_api/index.php?video_id=iM-SYaN1Mdo&tag=trainsurfing&page=2) In that inteview he stated that "from the day i heard about it, and saw pictures of it, it just stood clear to me that i had to try it". In the same interview, he said that he thought that trainsurfing was no more dangerous that riding a tuned scooter, as "most tuned scooters move at the same speed"

since then, several videos of Martin trainsurfing has appeared on youtube, but perhaps he should have stopped after that first time, when he was cought. Dangerous or not, Martin Harris was killid "in action", so-to-speak, on the 12th of May 2007, as he and some friends were on their way home from a soccer game. At one of the stops, Martin suddenly stepped out of the train, to the bewilderment of his friends. And after that they didn't hear from him. Why he, standing on the roof of the train, failed to notice the train passing under a viaduct, with only 75 cm between the top of the train and the roof, we may never find out. Perhaps he just never appreciated that there are other fundamental differences between trains and scooters than speed. His body was noticed lying on the roof of the train by a man driving alongside the train in a car. Remaining are the video laid out on youtube by Martin Harris and a warning to possible followers, that the ride of your life can quickly turn to the ride of your death.

I don't think we have this particular one and I think this one surpasses all the run of the mill train surfing stories we receive just on the fact that he had been previously caught and warned. Thanks for sending us the story.

I agree with Chip - I couldn't find any submissions of this particular story, and the fact that he'd been caught and warned puts this above the typical train surfing story.
