Roller Coasted

2007 Reader Submission
Pending Acceptance

http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,269254,00.html

A 21 year old female employee who forgot to look both ways before crossing the tracks was killed in Billund, Denmark's Legoland amusement park after leaping a security fence to grab a wallet that a passenger had dropped. The Roller Coaster hit and killed her instantly.

Being a employee, she assuredly knew the obvious danger of the coasters.

"We're shocked," Legoland manager Henrik Hoehrman said. "Nothing like this has happened before."

Definitely Keep: Darwin Award
OUCH! That must have been rather messy! While I admire the late victim's chivalrous motivation and attention to customer service, the fact remains that she should have known better. Roller coasters aren't made of Lego, after all! Thanks, Andrew!

They aren't made of Legos in Legoland?!? Oh well. It's been quite a while since we've had a roller coaster death, so I vote to keep this. Thanks, Andrew.
