hello, i was told your site by a friend of mind linking it to the star wars story. because i know both burn victims from this insident, and what is on your site is incorrect, id like to tell you what really happend. in 2003 to 2005 both male and female used to preform original stunts for a website tv show, with both of them with years of background in stunts this ment they had to create new stunts and not copy any from other stunt groups like jackass ect. this stunt which was created by them and the other 4 members of the crew, was to preform a fire breath (blowing a line of fire from your mouth) stunt but along the inside of a tube, so with fule in a tube and the end lit when swung the force would move the fule past the open/lit end and out making a fire breath effect. this was tested and it worked fine, it was then decided the end should be broken off when hitting someones back ie its now a stunt, so it the fire would shoot off next to them. this was tested and worked fine without injury as the performer would drop and roll removing the clothing. when it came to film the stunt for the site it was all ready and set up, the female had been instructed 3 times what to do when the stunt happens. she said she understood perfectly what to do, this gave the male confidence that she knew what she was gettin into and was ready to be the main stuntman in this stunt. so what happend due to the fuel being in one end of the "prop" the weight made it break in mid air. the lit end just make the whole thing explode between both of them, the male who was the role of the one who swings it, was coverd from head to toe in fire, he wasnt wearing any protective clothing as from his last account with the same stunt, he didnt need too. and he droped and rolled, removed his burning shirt and used it as a rag to whipe off the fuel on his face and body and put out the fire on himselfs before it started burning his skin, he took me this took 10sec or less, he stood up and was 100% unharmed, but he could not see, this was due being to close the the flash of the explosion, as his vision came slowly back he was shouting the girls name without hearing anything back. after 2mins he could see clearly again and saw the female had not followed the saftey instructions and just droped to her knees when the stunt went wrong and had gone into shock, the male took it apon his self to bend over her and reach into the flames and pull off both layers of clothes, with the girl in shock she wouldnt lift up her arms or help in anyway this ment the guy would set on fire again, only this time its his skin and not this clothes, he would drop and roll get up and try again. this happend 5 times. he didnt give up and he didnt stop untill he forced the cloths off her, at the end resulted in both of them burning there bodys badly, she then came out of shock and they called for an ambilance and taken to the hospital without explaining what had happend in detail, the male couldnt speak as he brethed in the fulms and was now throwing up blood. the male had burnt 45% of his body, his hands was burnt so bad you could see all the bones in his hands. both his arms had all the skin burnt off and his chest was also bunrt down to the flesh due to him leaning over the girl on fire. his neck and face had 3rd degree burns. the girl had 4th degree burns on her face, shoulder,top part of arm and some of her back, they had sergury which ment they both needed skin graths from the rest of the bady to patch the burns over, the female was in hospital for 6weeks and the male for 4 weeks, both are now still recoving there slow healing injurys at home.

the star wars story was made up by a firefighter who turned up after it happend, and needed a story to sell to the uk papers, so thats why there are so many different versions of the events as he told the fake star wars story, the local papers told the story of the website stunt. so alot of papers just mixed info together to make there own version and due to the papers wanting to have a victim and someone to blame, the story was twisted so the male apearred to be a bad guy, the local police also said they would have to charge the male with assult as the story was pulic intrest and other laws.he was told he cant talk about the case/event untill after court which took ayear to go to trial. so he couldnt report what had really happend that day or it could damage his hearing and defence, but ayear later when the case was over he was found to be innorcent by everyone on the jury and even by the judge. the judge (baker) did say he thinks this case should have not even ended up in crowncourt in the first place as the police knew the whole story from the start and was disapointed in the prosicution, now with the real story out there. none of the papers would correct themselfs or it would seem they didnt know anything about the storys they cover and would not be trusted in later storys they tell. most of them didnt even report he was found not guilty because from what they had reported from the start it wouldnt make sence.

that about wraps it up, i hope you put this on the site so people can read what really happend. you may need to fix some spellin errors in there as i havnt checked it. also it happend in 2005 i know you've been told this but just comfirming that for you.
