Thanks, Teresa. Here's the link: http://www.greeleytrib.com/article/20060917/NEWS/109160125 While gun-related accidents are too common, I need to point something out (having just qualified on a semi-automatic myself). In the old west, revolvers were used. These required considerable pressure on the trigger. A semi-automatic does NOT require anywhere near as much pressure. Obviously this fellow was a wanna-be, and twirling a loaded hair-triggered weapon is a SURE way to discharge it! DA, says I!

Thanks for the story, Teresa and thanks, James, for the link. What amazes me is the guy shoots himself in the head and they need an autopsy to determine cause of death?

Most gun accidents are too common and/or unspectacular. This one is special enough to merit further consideration in my judgement. If there is an afterlife, imagine his blush at the most common question between new acquaintances.
