Electrocuting fishes

Translated into English:

In the east of Oezbekistan, a fishersmen died while attempting to catch fish by electrocuting them. The guy climbed into a electricitypole, to cut an electric wire. De dropped the electric wire into the water. Then he fell of the pole into the water.

Original message: TASJKENT - Een amateurvisser is in het oosten van Oezbekistan om het leven gekomen bij een poging vissen massaal te elektrocuteren. Dat meldde Oezbeekse media op maandag. De man was op een elektriciteitsmast geklommen en had een doorgesneden stroomkabel in het water laten zaken om de vissen uit te schakelen.

Hij werd het slachtoffer van zijn eigen creativiteit toen hij vervolgens zelf in het water viel.

I'm only neutral because of the sparse detail. Otherwise, I'm seeing a gag right out of Wile E. Coyote here! The visual is funny even though electrocutions in general are common. We'll see what my fellow mods think!

I agree. Those details are enough to make for a classic Darwin Award, in my opinion. Yet they are so sparse, it would be good to have much more information on this incident. In any case, I can't think of a valid reason to oppose it, and I do see much potential with the imagery.

Thanks for the story. This reminds me so much of the guy who did the same thing and then never turned off the power before wading in to get his catch that I'm hesitant to pass this on, so I'll take the easy way out and let Darwin decide. ;)
