I am currently an investigator for a local Coroner/Medical Examiner's Office. Several years ago, I was called to a local hospital emergency room in reference to the deaths of two people that were involved in a motor vehicle accident.

After taking custody of the decedents, I went to the scene of the accident. The vehicle had been traveling at a high rate of speed in a residential neighborhood when they lost contol and rolled the SUV. Both people were not wearing their seat belts and were ejected. Alcohol was involved on the part of the driver and the passenger.

Upon searching the scene, I found a copy of the Darwin Award book that had been tossed out of the SUV during the rollover. I have pictures of the wrecked car with the book laying a few feet from it which we are willing to release to your agency. Media Reference can be provided as well.
