CHINO VALLEY, AZ - A 20-year-old Chino Valley man is recovering after he says he stabbed himself accidentally - in the head.

Chino Valley police Detective Mark Garcia says officers responding to a stabbing call last night found the victim standing in front of his home. A 12-inch steak knife was embedded in the back of his head.

Asked what had happened, the man said he had been throwing the knife into the air and it came down and struck him.

The man, whose name wasn't released, was taken to Yavapai Regional Medical Center in Prescott. Doctors removed the knife, treated the man and then released him.

First bricks, not knives. Can live grenades be far behind?

I read this in the paper and wondered how long it would take to be sumitted. Forgetting about the Law of Gravity is worth an Honorable Mention to me. And I quite expect to be seeing this young man again in the future.
