OK - I know you guys (and Teela) hate having to look up links, but this is a little unconventional for your normal write-up. The clip says it all.
And yes, I do read the trash heap and know that you've rejected plenty of fireworks stories as too common, but this is rather unique. I am completely unaware of this being posted previously so I'll apologise in advance if I'm wrong. I'll also apologise if you deem it a UL but the injuries at the end tempted me away from that score (hence the post).
However, in keeping with the Darwin Awards rules, I'll quickly summarise it below. But first, here is the link:

Basically, two idiots are showing off their rapid firing firework "guns" and then start shooting eachother with them at extremely close range. At the end they show off their injuries of (unsurprisingly) some rather nasty burns. Bizarre and ridiculously dangerous, it does have that sort of appropriate amusement factor.
Although it cannot be verified (and therefore is probably doomed to the trash heap) I don't think I've seen a finer example of lethal lunacy in action.
