Shoot with the proper gun!

I'm spanish so I'll tell you the story and will let you put a good title to it, and re-tell it the proper way in english as mine is not good enough to tell this story properly :D ;)
article (in spanish) can be found at http://www.terra.es/actualidad/articulo/html/act53463.htm . I guess spanish media in general will also report it, I've heard it this morning on the radio. This has happened this morning, 3AM spanish time.
3am 11/03/2003, the spanish police receives a call warning that at a (erm...bar with whores, not sure how you call this in english, here is "club de alterne" ;)) near Madrid 3 robbers with their faces covered are trying to steal the bar and the attendants showing one gun each.
The police immediately sends several units to the place, which on arrival immediately confirm that the call is true, and proceed to surround the place and then call the offenders to go out and surrender using (sound amplifiers?...darn, those conical things you put on the mouth to amplify your voice :D).
The robbers, understandably frightened, found themselfs in a quite bad situation...inside a bar, surrounded by dozens of policemans who are calling them to go out and surrender. Instead they decided to go the "brave" way. They went out of the bar, shooting at everything they saw, trying to escape.
Of course, the policemen ducked, covered and then proceeded to shoot back at the running robbers, two of whom were shot and died, and the other one wounded in his right leg.
This is the story, seems normal so far, true?...well, the JOKE comes when you read the part where it says that the robbers were carrying REAL guns...but with FAKE ammo! (you know the one that makes sound and light but is not real)...they were just THREE surrounded by DOZENS of armed agents with REAL guns in their hands, and they chose to fight a shootout against them!...as if they were going to win it...lol :D :D :D
P.D. As I say, feel free to rewrite the story so it's good enough for the fantastic level of the rest of the stories (well, PLEASE rewrite the story or at least add the missing words ;)). I can talk quite a bit of english, but I lack the skill to use sarcasm and irony the way this story deserves :D
