No, YOU'RE stupid

Paul Powell may not quite be out of the Gene Pool yet, but it looks like he will be soon. He certainly has been trying to speed up the process.
Powell had been tried and convicted for the murder of a 16-year-old girl, but the Virginia Supreme Court overturned the conviction because there was no evidence he had attempted to rob or rape her. Thinking himself home free, Powell wrote the prosecutor's office saying "Since the Virginia Supreme Court said that I can't be charged with capital murder again, I figured I would tell you the rest of what happened on January 29 1999 to show you how stupid all of y'all are". In 4 pages of graphic detail, he proceeded to explain exactly what had happened on the night when he murdered the girl.
There was one catch, however: The Court had only ruled that there wasn't enough evidence for the capital murder conviction and that there had to be a retrial. This time around, the letter from Powell provided precisely the evidence needed. Powell was convicted of Capital Murder charges on January 15, 2003. Submitted on 01/17/2003
