arijuana Sauna

I am not sure of the veracity of this story, but here it is anyways.
In the suburbs of Chicago an upper class family owned a sauna. The family consisted of an executive at a corporation, who had to travel frequently, his wife and two teenage daughters.
The father babysat the daughters with money, and they used the cash to buy various drugs. Their mom had also begun to idly dabble in controlled substances, most notably marijuana.
People may have seen the type of small sauna these people owned, it’s a kit you buy that ends up as a freestanding wooden box about six feet tall, and six feet in its other dimensions. They have wooden benches along three walls, and the fourth wall contains a door and the sauna heater, basically a wooden box lined with metal with a heater at the bottom, and a metal plate or screen holding several large rocks, which you throw water on to produce steam.
The father used this place to relax after a stressful day at work. Apparently he was on a business trip on a weekend and one of the women got the idea for them to make the sauna into a sort of marijuana chamber. They caulked up all the seams, used saran wrap and caulk to seal the vents, brought some marijuana into the sauna, and closed the door. They sealed the door with saran wrap from the inside, intent on not letting any of the smoke from the cannabis escape.
The women placing some marijuana in the heater, then lit it, and died shortly thereafter.
Police were able to figure out how they died. By sealing as many of the crevices and vents as possible, they severely limited the airflow into the sauna. The burning marijuana would have consumed the oxygen in the sauna, slowly asphyxiating the occupants. Even if the fire had went out before they lost consciousness they would have been indisposed from the effects of the cannabis, and probably would not realize the danger.
They were found by police after the husband returned from the trip and couldn’t find his family members.
Again, I'm not sure of the veracity of this, as it has been heard from word of mouth.
