Fentanyl patches left on dead

Apparently he was a worker at the undertakers or the nursing home. The worker decided he needed a fix and what better place to get your drugs than from the pain killing patch off a dead person. He injected the fentanyl and the rest is history, and so was he.

Here is part of the abstract of the article.

We report a fatal case of fentanyl poisoning in which the decedent apparently obtained the drug from a used transdermal patch removed from a deceased nursing home patient

Fentanyl is a synthetic narcotic, like heroin but MUCH stronger weight per weight. This guy ingested a long time release dose all at once and OD'd. Agree, needs a better write up.
