A "Different" kind of date

The following poster was posted at the site of Athabasca Falls and my wife took a picture of the poster when we visited the Falls on July 15, 2002. "ATTENTION ALL VISITORS!"
On Sunday, June 9th, a 21 year old man climbed over the barricade, slipped on the rocks and fell into Atchbasca Falls. Rescuers are still searching. If, while viewing the falls and the surrounding area you see anything that may help the searchers (man was wearing a brwon sweatshirt and blue pants) please note the exact location and advise one of the searchers and/or contact Jasper National Park at 852-6155 immediately.

A little background information: An article appeared in the local Jasper paper referencing the "incident". Apparently, the young man climbed over the railing to impress his female companion on their first date. I guess he succeeded in making an impression. As to the falls, these falls were very impressive but obviously one would have to be a complete idiot to risk falling into them since they were very steep and very rocky.
I cannot confirm that the young man had not yet procreated yet but I think it is safeto assume that the woman he was with will not be spreading his genes around. Submitted on 10/25/2002
