The local Thai newspaper actually shows photos of the 3 policemen and 3 of the journalists called in when a suspicious looking parcel arrived at a local post office. The Bomb squad had alredy been called. One of the policemen had previously served in the bomb squad. Now history doesn't relate whether he was showing off for the press, his boss, or trying to neaten up the parcel by removing this untidy string hanging off the side before his old buddies arrived or what????
10 seconds later his body was a crumpled heap in a VERY untidy office. (yes, the local newspaper showed THATphoto too, in graphic detail). One of his comrades in uniform died in the last.
