This is a story told to me by the victim/perpetrator, which almost guarentees its truth. It's just not the sort of thing a guy would joke about.
This guy - we'll call him Joe - is an avid skateboarder and get a real thrill out of doing the usual stunts, including "jumping" onto a railing and sliding down. As anyone who has witnessed this trick can attest, this takes practice.
Joe apparently didn't practice enough. He slipped and fell, his skateboard falling aside as he landed on the metal railing and slid all the way down to the bottom.
At the ripe old age of nineteen (when he shared this story with my boyfriend and I) he can no longer procreate. That's right, a rather brutal but effective vasectomy courtesy of a sharp, rusting railing. Telling this story in male company never fails to draw shudders.
