This is a multiple attempt at gene pool elimination and although only one actually managed to carry off the feat, any one of the group could have got it right!
Last week in Stevenage (north of London, UK), a whole load of flowers appeared outside one
of the shops. This was accompanied with a boarded up window and
rumours that a youth had been pushed through the window and had died
from wounds gained.
In the local paper this week the Police said that they were no longer
treating it as suspicious as it appears that the youth that died was
part of a group of other youths who had been out clubbing and on their
way home, thought it would be a laugh to throw themselves against shop
windows as they walked thru' town. The youth that died unfortunately
picked one that broke as he hit it and was stabbed by the broken glass
as he went thru' it.
The report from the Stevenage Herald (UK) goes like this:
'An 18-year-old Stevenage youth died after crashing through a shop window in the town centre in the early hours of Saturday morning.
Police originally launched a murder investigation after Ryan Timlett was found to be dead on arrival at Lister Hospital. The teenager, say paramedics, had an extensive chest wound and had gone into cardiac arrest.
Police are now trying to piece together the tragic last minutes of the incident that cost the young man his life.
It is believed he was with a group of four other young men who were seen fooling around in the town centre and bouncing off several shop fronts. The group, it is understood, had been drinking on the nearby Leisure Park and were walking home through the town centre.
"This young man hit the window which shattered and he suffered a major woumd to his chest", said a paramedic spokesman.'
