This is only worth an Honorable mention but is hilarious so I thought id share it.
at 2300hrs in july a male 33 presented to the emergency department at the hospital where I work his problem was obvious both his feet were covered in deep lacerations and he was bleeding like a stuck pig. now how does this make our nominee worthy of a HM i hear you ask well the story goes like this.
ale after imbibing lots of alcohol (breathalised at 0.85) 0.05 being the cut off for driving in this country) had a massive argument with wife and after losing the argument,
proceded to say u dont love me anymore and kicked a plate glass window his wife laughed at this childish antic, so then he kicked the other plate glass window of course this one broke,
our hero then falls down and kicks again at the inital plate glass window which also breaks he now has 2 feet through 2 glass windows and is bleeding like a stuck pig, upon presentation even after suturing and doses of a coagulant enhancer our hero still bleeds and needed 4 units of blood transfused
he is looking at 4 to 6 weeks off his feet and 60 stiches that come out in 7 days (the doctor is looking forward to taking them out while hes sober ohh and did i mention the doctors considering no pain relief (Mwaahhahahahah)
