I think this guy definitely deserves Honorable Mention, although, it's even better when you see the pictures on the news website...

Off-roading got a new meaning early this morning!
A Pittsburgh bridge is back open after a drunk driver apparently tried to drive over -- instead of across -- the Smithfield Street Bridge.
Police say Mr. Swope drove his SUV on top of the trestle on the lower level of the bridge just after 1am this morning.
Swope, who then opened his door and fell to the ground, was not seriously injured.
Police say Swope was traveling along the concrete median for several yards before his vehicle straddled the bridge -- about 15-feet above the ground.
With the vehicle precariously perched over the Monongahela River, police and tow crews spent about three hours trying to get it down.
He's now facing charges of driving while intoxicated and reckless driving.
Swope has been in trouble with the law before. In January police arrested him for DUI. He entered into the ARD program in May.
aybe he'll qualify for the true Darwin Award next time -- they always say "Third time's a charm!"
